Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Glenn, Audrey und Sarah. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Der Ort ist ein kleines Juwel: herrlich ruhig, ideal zum Entspannen und genau richtig, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen.Unsere Kinder hatten große Freude mit den Eseln, dem Kätzchen und Enten auf dem Gelände – ein echtes Highlight für sie. Von hier aus lassen sich außerdem tolle Wanderungen unternehmen, und auch die Erkundung der umliegenden Dörfer mit dem Auto sowie ein erfrischendes Bad im Fluss haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht.Die traumhafte Landschaft rundet das Ganze ab – wir können einen Aufenthalt hier uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

What a delightful experience. This was more than a stay, it was like a visit with old friends. From the moment we (family of 5) walked on their property, Sarah, Glenn, and their daughter Audrey made us feel welcome. The accommodations are spectacular: a solid, rambling, centuries-old chateau with great character, made of stone and wood. They proudly showed us around their house, sharing its beauty, eccentricities, and hidden corners. The spacious home is cool despite the summer heat, and our rooms were large and tastefully appointed, with each window offering views of treetops, rooftops, hillsides and stars. We were delighted to meet not only their donkeys (Banjo and Oscar) but kitten Mia and adorable 4-day old ducklings. We became fast friends over dinner our first night and enjoyed walking with Audrey to the waterfall and, all together, visiting a hidden beach on the Dordogne. Sarah, Glenn and Andrey are so welcoming, they make you feel right at home in their family. And not any home, a beautiful and picturesque 1630 house they have been carefully taking care off for decades - where each piece of furniture and decoration has a story! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s charming and historic home. We loved wandering in the beautiful garden and feeding the donkeys. The scenery around Autoire is gorgeous and there are lovely walks/hikes nearby. We also enjoyed visiting a neighboring village and castle. Sarah and Glenn went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. They cooked us a delicious dinner one night and offered us use of the kitchen on other nights. La chambre d’hôtes telle qu’on la rêve. Le manoir est magnifique pour les amoureux de la pierre et de l’authenticité. Mais que dire de l’accueil de Sarah, son mari Glenn et leur charmante fille Audrey? De la simplicité, de la générosité et surtout la magie d’une très belle rencontre. Un week-end en famille parfait!! Unos anfitriones muy calidos, nos recibieron como si fueramos parte de su bonita familia, siempre dispuestos a hacer lo posible para que estuvieramos lo mas comodos posibles. Una casa hermosa con mucho carisma que da hacia un arroyo y la montaña, asi que mucha paz y tranquilidad . Nuestra hija adoro darle de comer a los burros. Demeure de charme, vielles pierres de caractère et jardin paisible, avec des hôtes très attentionnés pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. N'hésitez pas à leur demander de l'aide pour réserver de bons restaurants dans la région car ils sont souvent complets en haute saison.
